Doctrinal Statement

God's Word

We believe the authorized King James Version to be the inspired and preserved, inerrant Word of God. It was written by man through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is God's Word to man for the purposes of salvation and living a life pleasing to God. God's Word is the final authority. The King James Version is the only version to be used by our church.

Salvation

Salvation is by grace through faith, it is man putting his faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ who lived a sinless life, died for the sinner, and rose from the grave on the third day. One must put his faith and trust in Christ alone for salvation.

Baptism and the Lord's Supper

Baptism and the Lord's Supper are the only two ordinances of the church. Baptism is the first step in obedience after salvation, it is not a part of salvation, it is a picture of salvation; the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Baptism is by immersion showing publicly what one has believed in his heart.

The Lord's Supper is a time of remembering what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross; the broken body, and shedding of blood, for the remission of sins.
